Up to 32 degrees and little rain – an Azores offshoot gives us summer weather. The Iberian Peninsula, on the other hand, is expecting a severe heat wave.
Kassel – Dangerously high temperatures set in in south-west Europe with the Cenk offshoot of the Azores. In Spain and Portugal, 40 to 45 degrees have been announced from Saturday, as graduate meteorologist Dominik Jung opposite weather.net explained. That’s five to ten degrees more than normal at this time of year. At times, maximum values of 47 or 48 degrees can even be expected. The heat wave could possibly last at least until next Friday. Experts had already predicted heat waves for this summer.
Also in Germany expect us Summer-Temperatures. However, a maximum of 31 or 32 degrees is to be expected. “So far it is not foreseeable that the extreme Spanish heat could reach us. However, the precipitation is being calculated downwards from day to day, and we would need a lot of land rain after the dry spring, but the weather models are constantly reducing it,” explains Jung. The drought trend will therefore continue this summer.
