More than 20 people have died in Uganda in a new Ebola outbreak, the first in the country since 2019. It is the Sudan strain, which is believed to be less deadly than the more common Zaire strain, but whose reaction to the existing Ebola vaccine is unknown. The Ministry of Health assured that it will take advantage of the infrastructure that already existed in the affected region to fight against Covid-19.
