Return to a normal life, yes, but at what pace? It’s official: deconfinement will not happen overnight, like last May. On November 22, in an interview with Sunday newspaper, government spokesperson Gabriel Attal announces: “The flexibilities will be done in three stages: first around December 1, then before the end of year holidays, then from January 2021”. Clearly, it will not be a deconfinement, but a light confinement.
Because, the more we limit the exits, the more the number of people contaminated by a patient drops quickly, and, with it, the pressure on hospitals. Thus, will it always be necessary to complete an exceptional travel certificate? The hypothesis remains because the limitation of outputs will be maintained, as announced by Gabriel Attal. Particularly sensitive places, cafes and restaurants could remain closed initially.
