He tried to deceive bank employees and collect a loan of 3 thousand euros: “That man didn't move”
This story is causing discussion on the web and has quickly gone viral. It comes from a bank in Bangu, city of Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. A woman she showed up, in the company of a man in a wheelchair, trying to collect a loan of 3 thousand euros. However, that elderly person whom she calls “uncle”, she was no longer breathing…
The bank employees became suspicious because the woman continued to hold your head of that man in the wheelchair. At the time of signing, it has helped to raise his hand. No movement of his own free will. So, they decided to record everything with their cell phone and alarm the police. The video, released on the web, went viral in a few hours.
He stated that those 3 thousand euros were needed for his uncle to buy a new television and do some work inside his home. That man, however, was deceased a few hours ago.
The officers, who arrived at the bank, confirmed the employees' suspicions and accused the woman of attempted aggravated robbery from the use of the fraudulent means and of vilification of a corpse.
When asked for explanations, Erika De Souza Vieira Nunes (this is her name) told the officers that she was the man's niece and that, upon arrival at the bank, he was still alive. It is not yet clear whether there is really a family relationship between the two. In the video shot by bank employees, the 42-year-old can be seen talking to the man and explaining to him that he would help him sign.
She tried to grab his arm, while his head kept sliding back. The man's arms were unresponsive. When we pointed out to her that our uncle was ill, that he didn't have a good complexion, she tried to reassure us, telling us that he was just like that, he wasn't used to talking.
After investigations, officers discovered that the man had recently been discharged. He had spent a few days hospitalized due to pneumonia. The woman's lawyer continues to reiterate that the elderly gentleman is deceased inside the bank. However, the footage from the security cameras that recorded the arrival of the two does not show any voluntary movement of the man.
The police are trying to trace the driver of the public transport who accompanied them to the bank, to find confirmation in his testimony. The medical examiner has already established that the elderly gentleman could not have died while sitting down, as they would have been there signs of cadaveric hypostasis. For the complete report, we will have to wait another few days.
The accusations are serious, we will get to the bottom of the matter. The lady attempted to fake a signature for the loan, arriving at the bank when the man was already dead.
