Claudio D’Alessio – son of the singer Gigi – was sentenced by the Court of Rome to three months and fifteen days of imprisonment on charges of personal injury and violence against his ex-maid Halyna Levkova. The prosecutor had asked for nine months. He was sentenced to compensate even 2500 euros to the civil party.
The facts date back to 5 July 2014 when the woman was attacked and thrown out of the house in the middle of the night, in the heart of the Parioli, after asking D’Alessio to lower his voice. The man, in fact, was arguing with his girlfriend at the time – Nicole Minetti – and Levkova could not sleep. His room had no door. After the request, according to the indictment, the singer’s son lost his temper and beat the woman.
D’Alessio, who has pleaded innocent, said: “I hope the appeal overturns the sentence. His room without a door? It is true, but because it was located on the upper floor, where she lived alone and so wanted it by those who built the building. I ended up on trial for the surname I bear ”. And on Instagram he wrote: “I want to clarify one thing: I lost the first degree of a process based on a bruise behind an arm with a prognosis of 3 days, I repeat 3 days … diagnosed after 48 hours from the alleged made more than 7 years ago. I would have liked it to end today and avoid the usual media circus and banal comments, unfortunately it wasn’t like that, I’ll have to wait a few more months “. Among the comments, the response of the father, Gigi D’Alessio: “Your sensitivity and your kind soul have accompanied you since childhood. Today you are a man, but above all a family man who carries on the same values. I know who you are…. And that’s why I’m even more proud of you. You are my life”.
