An elderly woman from California, who thought the noises coming from under her house were made by animalswas shocked to find a naked man coming out from under his house.
A 93-year-old woman from the El Sereno neighborhood in Los Angeles recently took the scare of his life realizing that the strange sounds he had heard under his house for the past few weeks were not made by animals, but by a ‘stowaway’ who had taken up residence there.
The woman and her family used to hear the sounds during the night, so they assumed they were made by dogs or wild animals passing below, but last Thursday the noises became especially loud.
They began to suspect that something was wrong, so they called the police, who located a naked guy who seemed to have been living under the house for quite some time.
“The noises were like banging. It was as if, as my wife walked, they were hitting from below of the house. “Those couldn’t be animals,” Ricardo Silva, son-in-law of the owner, told NBC.
Getting the unwanted guest out of the place was quite an odyssey, since he did not want to leave. The police spent hours trying to convince him to crawl out and then They tried to intimidate him with dogsbut he didn’t seem worried at all. In the end, they succeeded by launching tear gas.
The occupant was identified as Isaac Betancourt27 years old, and it is suspected that he lived in the property for the last six months. The family now plans to block access to the place, just over half a meter high, to avoid similar problems in the future.
