Juarez City- A man died early this morning after being run over by the driver of a car, who fled without offering him help, reported elements of the General Coordination of Road Safety (CGSV).
The fatal accident occurred at 1:52 a.m., on Paseo de la Victoria and Camino Viejo a San José, where authorities found the lifeless body of a man in his 30s, who had multiple fractures, reported a Road Safety commander.
A witness told officers that the pedestrian tried to run across Paseo de la Victoria and was hit by a speeding car, which immediately fled.
The victim, who remains unidentified, was lying on the asphalt, wearing black shorts and a green T-shirt, the commander of the Highway Department explained.
Experts from the FGE and workers from the Forensic Medical Service collected the body to transfer it to their facilities.
