We are awaiting the results of the autopsy which will be carried out tomorrow, Friday 19 April on the body of Mattia Giani. The investigations continue and the team against which the young footballer played was paid a fine.

Footballer Mattia Giani fell ill during the first half of the match between Lanciotto and Castelfiorentino, which was suspended on 14 April to allow for medical attention. The suspension of the match was justified by the discouragement and general disturbance of the players and managers of the two teams, and the judge ruled that the remaining part of the match must be made up. Lanciotto was fined 400 euros due to lack of ambulance and/or doctor, in relation to the omitted service and the event that occurred.
