The two favorites battle it out and in the end Husqvarna’s Englishman wins. Behind the German on Ktm, great performance by the other British who conquers a brilliant podium in the Italian round of the Hard Enduro World Championship
Ups and downs, dirt and rocks. The riders involved in the Italian stage of the Hard Enduro had a good assortment in terms of the hardness of the track. The fans present in the surroundings of Abetone benefited from this, spectators of a spectacular duel between the two very favorites of the day before, William Bolt and Manuel Lettenbichler. The British Husqvarna rider prevailed, but his life was decidedly less easy than one could have imagined since qualifying.

The Super Final format foresees that the first 50 of the qualifications will start spaced with the same time gap as the tests. The forerunner is Bolt, who earns slightly on immediate rival Lettenbichler. The German of KTM, however, did not let go and in the refueling section, characterized by the presence of rocks, he even took the lead. The battle does not stop giving twists. In fact, the Englishman got back in the lead shortly after and never let go, winning the victory with almost 1 ‘over his rival.

While the first two showed an unapproachable race pace, the others played the last step of the podium. Graham Jarvis’s experience made a difference. The British born in 1975, as often happened in the past, comes out at the distance, brilliantly rising from the ninth starting position. He chews bitterly Jonny Walker, who battles Husqvarna’s rival, but has to be content with giving Beta the wooden medal. Tenth position for Sonny Goggia, the best among the Italians.
