This came during the visual contact made by His Highness with a number of participants in the “Emirates Experts” program who visit Dalma Island to view all the facilities, services and archaeological areas, in addition to visiting a number of residents, with the aim of coming up with development initiatives for multiple sectors that contribute to supporting existing initiatives to improve Quality of life for a prosperous and sustainable community on the island.

His Highness called on the participants in the program to focus on the pearl sector because of its great importance to the people of the region, as Dalma represents an important part of the history of the pearl trade in the Arabian Gulf and is historically famous for this trade, in addition to the dependence of the people of Delma on it.
His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed the importance of having one port in Delma and canceling all other small ports because this matter is of great importance to the island’s economy and to facilitate the work of all the competent authorities on the island.
For his part, Saeed Al Zaabi, a representative of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court, praised the keenness of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan and his follow-up of all projects and initiatives implemented in the cities of the Al Dhafra region, and praised His Highness’s directives in harnessing all capabilities and providing them to the Emirates Experts Program team during his visit to Dalma Island. Which brought fruitful results for the participants.

For his part, Ahmed Taleb Al Shamsi, Director of the Emirates Experts Program in the Crown Prince’s Court, presented during the video call an overview of the program and its importance in building a qualified cadre to serve the country in all fields and specializations, indicating that the delegation visited a number of councils and residences in Delma and listened directly to the opinions of the people. And their challenges and proposals, and then building strategic plans and solutions to them.
For her part, Taif Mohammed Al-Amiri, an expert in the media and innovative industries, said: Some of the program’s associates presented a number of ideas and proposals that they developed during their time in Delma, especially in the transport, tourism and vocational education sector.
Sultan Ahmed Al-Junaibi, an expert in business and financial services, reviewed the idea of engaging Delma people in the tourism sector by being tour guides and developing the process of booking ferry tickets through websites, while Muammar Muhammad Al-Marzouqi, an expert in tourism, retail and entertainment, stressed the importance of caring for sports tourism, environmental, cultural and vocational education in various fields. It is noteworthy that the “Emirates Experts” program is one of the pioneering programs aimed at developing national cadres in various sectors and enabling them to advance the wheel of development and development in the country.
