His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council, mourned the Saudi prince and poet Badr bin Abdul Mohsen Al Saud.
His Highness said in his account on the “X” platform, “The full moon has disappeared, which illuminated the space of poetry, love, and feeling with its words… and which over many years created our memories and shaped our most delicate feelings… May God have mercy on the poet Prince Badr bin Abdul Mohsen Al Saud… and sincere condolences and sympathy to the honorable House of Saud.” And for lovers of the word everywhere… today we lost a full moon whose light cannot be replaced.”
His Highness added in a tweet on the “X” platform, “The street lights faded… and the light of the letters went out.”
