The Palestinian terrorist group Hamas thanked the leader of the Hezbollah terrorist group, Hassan Nasrallah, for his support on Thursday (19), after he announced that he would continue to attack Israel in “solidarity” with the Gaza Strip, even after the explosions of pagers and walkie-talkies belonging to members of the Lebanese group, which killed 37 people and injured another 3,200.
“This position, which is appreciated by our people and our resistance, is considered a slap in the face to [primeiro-ministro israelense, Benjamin] Netanyahu and his fascist government, and thereby aborts his plans to attack the front supporting our people and our resistance in the Gaza Strip,” Hamas said in a statement.
Furthermore, the Palestinian terrorist group denounced that the explosions in Lebanon, for which Israel did not claim responsibility, as well as the “massacres against civilians” that, according to the terrorists, are being committed in Palestine “violated all international values, laws and regulations”.
In a televised address on Thursday, as Israel bombed Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon, Nasrallah blamed Israel for the blasts and said the country had crossed all “red lines” and “limits” with the “massive remote attack that hit streets, hospitals and supermarkets.” He also acknowledged that the blasts dealt “an unprecedented blow” in the history of the Lebanese terror organization.
