343 Industries is studying a way to add the microtransactions at the Halo: The Master Chief Collection, for the purchase of cosmetic items in the game. Basically the current system will remain unchanged, but the ability to buy Spartan Points using real money will be added, so that you can buy the various in-game items faster.
The new feature, still under study, was mentioned in the latest update of the official blog of the franchise, in which it was explained in detail what will happen in the future to the beloved collection of all Halo (except the fifth and Halo Infinite) .
With the suppression of seasons, Season Points will be replaced by Spartan Point, which will be used to purchase more than a thousand cosmetic items in the game. The microtransactions will be dedicated to those who do not have much time to dedicate to them and still want to have certain objects, or to completists: “We are studying a potential new feature internally to be added in the future in the form of purchasable Spartan Points.
It is fair to note that we are happy with the current system which allows players to earn Spartan Points by completing challenges and leveling up while playing. It will be an optional feature, an alternative for players who may find it intimidating the time it takes to unlock the large amount of content and want to speed up (or skip) the grind, or maybe want to get specific items they want (we all have our favorites. ).“
For the rest we remind you that the Halo: The Master Chief Collection is available for PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X and S.
