Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary already had them since June, although they have been updated.
While it is impossible that Halo fans are not currently excited about the upcoming release of Halo Infinite, the classics of the Halo: The Master Chief Collection have many wars to wage and continue to have a dedicated community to which since Microsoft has not stopped caring. The collection is currently in its final season, Season 8.
We can alter the AI, textures, colors, in addition to editing levelsThis summer, the first title in the series, Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, released its tools for official mods, something that was celebrated by the fans, but they were still to come for the second and third installments. Finally Microsoft has released tool packages for Halo 2 and Halo 3, plus update those for Halo: CE.
These new tools are similar to the Halo: CE kit and it will allow us to alter the AI, textures, colors, in addition to being able to edit levels. 343 Industries has advised that these are the tools that developers have used. The kit has a tool with which we can import content and also create map files.
At 343 Industries they are aware that users may run into some problems, and although they promise that there will be future updates to solve the most common mistakes, they recognize that support will not be at the same level as with Halo: The Master Chief Collection. You have all the information about the toolkits for Halo 2 and Halo 3 mods, as well as the update for the tools of Halo: CE on Steam.
