As part of her keenness to support local and international talents and enable participation in Dubai’s cultural and creative sector, Hala Badri, Director General of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority “Dubai Culture”, was briefed on the work of talents and creative and innovative energies participating in the “Alumni Exhibition” in Dubai Design District, which It was inaugurated by the Dubai Institute of Design and Innovation on May 25, 2022, to celebrate the graduation of its first batch of students, and it will continue until June 5.
During her visit, Hala Badri was briefed on the innovative projects included in the exhibition, which were created and implemented by the students of the Institute, most notably a digital art collection in the form of non-replaceable symbols, a “Vegetal” guide that helps children develop their emotional regulation skills, and a complete design of an application aimed at supporting dementia patients. In the early to middle stages using artificial intelligence and augmented reality techniques.
Badri also stopped at a meditative system that works as an interactive physical therapy for children, and other projects about human and plant societies on Mars, and other projects that reflect the graduates’ depth of knowledge and qualitative skills.
Hala Badri praised the students’ innovations, which she described as carrying brilliant future ideas that reflect the spirit of the Emirate of Dubai, the city that has become a center for creativity, innovation and future industry, stressing her pride in the achievements of these students who will obtain the first multi-track Bachelor’s degree in design in the region, expressing her confidence that they will be active contributors.
