New Delhi 26/11 mastermind Hafiz Saeed has been sentenced to 10 years in the court of Pakistan by convicting 2 terrorists. Pakistan had arrested Hafiz Saeed in July last year, expressing his war against terror. The news agency PTI has given information about this.
“The Lahore anti-terrorism court on Thursday sentenced its chief Hafiz Saeed, including four leaders of the Jamaat-ud-Dawa, in two cases,” the PTI news agency quoted a court official as saying.
Please tell that Hafiz Saeed and his two associates Zafar Iqbal and Yahya Mujahid have been sentenced to ten and a half years, while their brother-in-law Abdul Rahman Makki has been sentenced to six months imprisonment.
Hafiz Saeed is called the mastermind of the Mumbai attack, one of the biggest terrorist attack in India. In the year 2008 attack in Mumbai, 166 people were killed by 10 terrorists. Hundreds of people were also injured in this attack. After this terrorist attack, Hafiz Saeed was declared a “global terrorist” by the United Nations and the United States.
