Hades II has quickly become, following its official announcement, one of the most anticipated indie titles for the foreseeable future (perhaps on a par only with Hollow Knight Silksong). Surprisingly, SuperGiant Games has made it available to all interested parties the Early Access version of the game.
This choice by the team should not surprise fans of the first chapter of the series: even Hades himself, in fact, was available in Early Access for a long time. The study also provided some information on the future of the Hades II projectinformation that we now bring to you.
“The full version of Hades II will have more expanded and refined gameplay and content than the Early Access version, in addition to Steam Achievements and the true ending of the story.
During Early Access, we will release substantial updates every few months with gameplay additions and new content, followed by patches that address any issues. The first update will arrive later this year.”
This is how the studio answers the question about the differences between this version and the definitive version of the game. Nothing to do regarding the release date: we only know that the Early Access version should remain available until the end of 2024.
The currently available version of the game costs 28.99 euros, but the developers say that “in case of considerable additional content” the price may undergo variations.
