Ahmedabad: The Gujarat government announced that many pro-people schemes and development projects will be launched in the state on Thursday to celebrate the 70th birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The government said in a statement on Wednesday that in the presence of Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, Governor Acharya Devvrat and Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel will start these plans and projects through video conference from Gandhinagar. He told that Union Home Minister Amit Shah will attend a digital function from Delhi. He will attend the e-Bhoomi Pujan ceremony of the water supply project for Gandhinagar at 11 am.
It was informed in the release that state ministers, MLAs and other leaders will attend this function from 70 different places in all 33 districts of the state. In which several schemes will be started including schemes related to farming and water supply.
At the same time, BJP has given instructions to serve at least 70 needy people in every mandal on the occasion of Prime Minister Modi’s 70th birthday. Camps will also be organized for the differently-abled people and they will be given the necessary equipment. There will be programs of cleanliness at 70 places in each district, distribution of fruits, care of patients in hospitals and blood donation programs.
Apart from this, party workers will cut the cake at 10 am tomorrow in the BJP office. BJP president JP Nadda will distribute 70 devices to the differently-abled during a program at 4 pm tomorrow at Chandni Chowk.
