Thus, the scientist commented on a publication in the Lancet, in which specialists from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in the United States reported on the side effects of vaccination against coronavirus in minors.
“We do not introduce into the human body compounds that interact directly with semi-receptors that are responsible for turning on inflammatory reactions, so this does not threaten us,” Gunzburg specified.
He also said that the vaccine invented by the Gamaleya Center is well purified. According to the specialist, 100,000 doses of Sputnik M are planned to be released into civilian circulation this week.
Earlier, the infectious disease specialist, head physician of Invitro-Siberia Andrey Pozdnyakov said that multisystem inflammatory syndrome can manifest itself in children weeks after recovery. “Most likely, MVS in children is a kind of cytokine storm, but it manifests itself not during, but 1-4 weeks after the disease,” he said.
