Announced together with the box sets of Gundam 0080 And The 08th MS Teamthe new home video edition of Mobile Suit Gundam 0083 STARDUST MEMORY is finally revealed by Dynit via the site Video Terminal. Also in this case it is a combo edition DVD + Blu-ray, which however will only contain the 13-episode OVA series without the recap feature film “Zeon’s Last Spark”.
This new six-disc edition (3 Blu-ray and 3 DVD) will be available next August 28th at the price of €69.99, will contain the dual audio language Italian and Japanese and subtitles in Italian. It is not yet clear whether how 0080 And The 08th MS Team Also 0083 STARDUST MEMORY will be added to the catalog of Prime Video.
Mobile Suit Gundam 0083 STARDUST MEMORY – Synopsis
Year 0083 of the Universal Century. A Pegasus-class spaceship has landed at the Australian base in Torrington, where the military trains for combat and tests new equipment for developing units. The Federal battleship is called Albion, and under the command of Captain Synaps it carries two new models of Mobile Suits. Together with his friend and colleague Keith, the young test pilot Kou Uraki sneaks onto the ship to preview the Gundams that have just landed at the base, but before he can appreciate their beauty he is surprised by the Anaheim Electronics engineer Nina Purpleton: he still doesn’t know you know, but soon the beautiful Nina will become something more than just a work colleague. Despite the secrecy of the project, a surviving cell of the principality of Zeon aims to steal one of the two units from the Earth Federation; their commander, an exile who escaped the defeat of A Baoa Qu, knows that Gundam Number 2, prepared for the use of nuclear weapons, represents a violation of the Antarctic Treaty. When, according to his plans, Major Gato manages to take possession of Gundam 2, Kou climbs onto Number 1 to prevent him, albeit in vain, from escaping with the federal MS. To silence public opinion about the violation of the Antarctic Treaty, the Federal Army entrusts Albion with the task of recovering unit 2. Thus begins the adventure of Kou Uraki and the three veteran pilots who with him will have to recover the Mobile Suit that fell into the enemy hands.
