Sinaloa.- The trademark MZT was processed for registration with the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (IMPI).
It was the city hall of Mazatlan who made the registration request on February 8, 2022, through the entry folio of the procedure number 45600 and file number 2690800.
Paid the amount of $16,882.62 under the concept of “payment of the MZT trademark registration before the IMPI in order to have the identity of Mazatlan through those acronyms”.
According to information on the official website of the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property, who appears as the legal representative of the MZT brand is the mayor of Mazatlán, Luis Guillermo Benítez Torres, with address at Ángel Flores s/n, Colonia Centro.
“The registration was formalized a few days ago in accordance with the public act, this will allow you to be a sponsor of sporting events, promote the sale of products and services, and more,” Citizen Observatory of Mazatlan cites on its social networks.

In the section of Products and Services under brand protection are the following: advertising, management, organization and administration of commercial businesses, office work, advertising in the field of travel and tourism.
