The definitive search for a coach begins in Chivas, the presidency of the club commanded by Amaury Vergara bet on the Dutch project of John Van’t Schip, however, the sports management of Ricardo Peláez does not trust the European coach and they have other letters about the table to take the reins of the Sacred Flock.
One of the most attractive men to take on Chivas in the not too distant future is the Uruguayan coach from Santos, Guillermo Almada, who is one of Peláez’s strong men as he has shown to have an aggressive style of play and who always seeks to win. In addition, he has given a lot of confidence to the Santos quarry and has endowed their rosters with talented youths that he has polished over time, something that is precisely urgent in Chivas.
Almada welcomes arriving at Guadalajara, however, he has an important conditional to do so, he demands to arrive together with two of his figures in Santos, they are Eduardo Aguirre and Carlos Acevedo, who, in reality, are a couple of players who have been previously surveyed by Chivas, but that could have a significant obstacle in their price. The Almada-Aguirre-Acevedo combo may well be a solution for all the rojiblancos’ ills, but it is financially difficult to sign.
