This Monday, personnel from Guerrero’s Popular High Schools arrived on several buses to the Mexico City and at approximately 1:00 p.m. protests began in three different points in the downtown area of the capital.
The protesters ask for the recognition of their labor rights, free union representation and that their human rights be respected.
For an approximate period of six hours they blocked the intersections of Paseo de la Reforma and Insurgentes, as well as that of Chapultepec and Seville, which have already been removed.
For now, it is known that a retinue is already in the Interior Ministry, where it is expected that they will reach an agreement to remove the blockade and their requests will be answered.
The only blockade that remains is that of Bucareli avenue at the intersection with Atenas where one of the parked buses and some banners is located, so elements of the Subsecretariat of Traffic of the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC) make the corresponding cuts to circulation from Morelos avenue.
Therefore, authorities recommend Los Insurgentes Avenue and Mississippi River as a road alternative.
