10 Chambers has surprisingly announced the reissue of the Rundown 2.0 Infection for GTFO extensionwith the 4-player cooperative horror FPS which therefore continues to be enriched, also through reworkings of the previously released Rundowns.
Developed by the authors of Payday: The Heist and Payday 2, GTFO is a first-person shooter with horror and angst tones, in which survival is based on the ability to communicate, coordinate and count bullets, working collaboratively between players.
This is also a game that relies on continued support from the developers, and this has been going on quite steadily since launch.
In this regard, 10 Chambers has announced the launch of a new program which provides for the re-release of the previous Rundowns in a completely reworked form, “2.0”, so to speak.
“The plan to permanently bring back all previous GTFO Rundowns in an alternative way is proceeding as planned. This is a special initiative, as the Rundown Infection was the first standalone Rundown we released and has become an icon. As we do not delete no content when we add new ones, GTFO counts now 26 playable expeditions: is bigger than ever in terms of content and will continue to grow throughout 2023,” said Robin Björkell, director of communications at 10 Chambers.
In ALT://Rundown 2.0 Infection, prisoners are tasked with retrieving a Hydro Stasis Unit (HSU) and running it through a mysterious process involving several machines. In doing so, players will gain insight into the state of the world outside GTFO’s nightmarish dungeons.
