When Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition was revealed last week, Rockstar mentioned that this collection will be available on consoles and PC at some point this year. Considering that 2021 is nowhere near over, there are only a few months left before sharing this information. Now, a new report indicates that this package will be available in december, but only for previous generation platforms.
According to sources close to PPE, a Polish site, Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition would be available on December 7, but only on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC, with the PS5 and Xbox Series X | S versions arriving sometime in 2022. This would mean that the release of the collection was partially delayed.
This means that current-generation versions may be available alongside the collection’s release on mobile devices. At the moment there is nothing confirmed. Similarly, Rockstar has not mentioned whether by purchasing the PS4 and Xbox One versions you can upgrade to PS5 and Xbox Series X | S at no cost.
In related topics, this could be the price of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition. Likewise, fans have recreated Squid Game on GTA Online.
Editor’s Note:
With rumors of a $ 70 price tag, Rockstar needs to clear up fan doubts as soon as possible. People want this collection. However, if the price is high and a free upgrade is not offered between generations, the reception from the public is likely not as good as expected. Better to clear things up before the situation gets confusing.
