GTA fans are painstakingly checking the game.
GTA The Trilogy The Definitive Edition has been out for a few days now but the players who have purchased the collection are experiencing not only a number of bugs and problems, but also several graphical effects that existed in the original games and which have apparently been removed from the final edition.
A user on Reddit posted a very short clip that compares GTA San Andreas and GTA San Andreas Definitive: in the clip we can see the character shooting a gun at the glass of a car. The original game featured an effect related to glass shattering after impact with the bullet, while the final edition does not feature this animation. In fact, we can see how the glass simply disappears once hit.
In short, apparently many fans of the series are really disappointed with this trilogy. Among the various problems we also find that of rain, which is so thick and accentuated that it hurts the eyes. Thanks to modders there is now a mod that mitigates this effect, to the great delight of the fans who can now continue playing without problems.
Rockstar has stated that over time it will release patches and updates to make gameplay smoother and hassle-free. We remind you that GTA The Trilogy The Definitive Edition is available on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, PS4 and PS5, but the game will also arrive on mobile devices next year.
