There has been a lot of talk about the possible remastered of Red Dead Redemption, perhaps arriving for the first time on PC. Fans were looking forward to the confirmation of this work, perhaps accompanied by that of GTA IV but perhaps, we will never see them.
Galeotta was the Grand Theft Auto Trilogy according to the well-known insider Rockstar TezFunz2 who on Twitter explained how the public reception for this remastering would have pushed the parent company not to proceed further with the work already planned on the aforementioned Red Dead Redemption and Grand Theft Auto IV. Being the most popular IPs, this step seemed obvious, so much so that several rumors gave for certain the arrival of the RDR remastered even for October.
As per a reliable source with clear accuracy on Rockstar plans, remasters of GTA IV & RDR1 were on the table a few years ago, but Rockstar chose not to proceed with the projects in mind.
The poor reception of the Trilogy DE might be a reason behind that decision.#GTAIV # RDR1

Nothing is lost though; after all, this is not official information and although TezFunz2 has anticipated various information on Rockstar it is right to always keep the most cautious approach. If this were the case, however, we could be faced with a sudden change of course but wanting to be picky, the remastered does not exclude the remake, at least for Red Dead Redemption.
