Starting from the Sprint series of the Italian GT Championship, here are the protagonists.

At his side, a very promising young man with great potential, Alessandro Mainetti, a boy born in 2003 with a past in the championship reserved for Mitjet cars and ready to leap in quality.
Tazio Pieri, born in 1989, who after the excellent results obtained in 2021 in the Porsche Sports Cup Suisse (third place at Mugello and victory at Misano) has decided to embark on this new adventure at the wheel of the most renowned and performing Porsche 911 GT3 Cup, followed by ‘now inseparable coach Tommy Maino.
Ivan Costacurta and Diego Locanto. The first, born in Brianza in 1982 with many experiences in the GT series and in the Porsche single-make series, after recent appearances in the Porsche Club GT will be the teammate of Diego Locanto, a driver in constant growth and fresh from his recent experience in the Porsche Carrera Cup Italia 2020 / 2021.

As for the Endurance series, the line-up sees as many cars from the Stuttgart house lined up with the following drivers.
Giacomo Riva will join Stefano Gattuso and Alessandro Mainetti. Riva, 25 years old from Brianza, was reigning Italian champion of the Sprint GT4 AM in 2020 and in the last edition of the CIGT Sprint, supported by the Krypton Motorsport team, he finished fourth with Giovanni Berton.
Giuseppe Nicolosi and Davide Di Benedetto. Sicilian duo with a past for both in the tricolor series: more recent in the GT Cup class for the first while Di Benedetto’s races are more dated, who still counts in his palmares an Italian title in the GT Cup class won in 2018.
Diego Locanto will also be at the start of the Endurance series with a partner being defined.
The commitment of the team from Rovato is also renewed in the Porsche Carrera Cup Italia with the new 992 GT3 Cup.
At the wheel of the brand new car of the Stuttgart company, the expert driver from Modena Luca Pastorelli, KMS standard bearer for a decade, specialist in Stuttgart cars and in the single-brand promoted by Porsche Italia. 510 maximum horsepower and the absence of ABS will make it more exciting.
The Avvocato Volante is ready to get back into the game again, in search of the title in the special “Michelin Cup” category, which he missed for a handful of points in 2020.
2022 is therefore expected to be full of appointments, which will also be accompanied by those in other competitions still being defined.
