Pavel Grudinin, director of ZAO Sovkhoz imeni Lenin, announced that he plans to write an application for joining the ranks of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation. This decision was facilitated by the exclusion of the CEC of his candidacy from the federal list of the Communist Party for elections to the State Duma, the businessman said on the air. TV channel “Red line”.
Grudinin stressed that he has not yet discussed this decision with Gennady Zyuganov, but having received his consent, the businessman wants to join the Communist Party of the Russian Federation. He admitted that after being removed from the party list he felt “like a non-party person who is sitting in the trenches, and the Fatherland is in danger.”
The politician recalled that during the Great Patriotic War, many fighters wrote statements in which they noted that they were going on the attack and asked to be considered communists.
“And I had the feeling that together with my friends, colleagues, with people who really want Russia to be a great country, I am sitting in these trenches, and they are completely unlawfully spreading rot, shooting at us. And I sit and think: we need to write a statement, ”Grudinin emphasized.
At a meeting on July 24, the CEC expelled Pavel Grudinin from the list of the CPRF candidates in the elections to the State Duma. This decision was made after a complaint by his ex-wife Irina, who said that the politician hid his share in a foreign offshore company and did not mark it in the declaration when submitting documents as a candidate to the State Duma. In the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, the charges were called insinuations, but a check carried out by the CEC confirmed the veracity of the statements.
