The Sports University coach, Gregory Perez, remembered in Colombia for his time in Independent Santa Fe, had a delicate health mishap this Thursday.

The Peruvian club reported that Professor Pérez suffered chest pain on Thursday afternoon, for which he was transferred to a hospital, being treated by the cardiology service.

The DT was diagnosed with coronary syndrome, undergoing a catheterization.

Stable

The club indicated that Pérez is stable and that he is constantly monitored by specialists.

Gregorio Pérez, a 73-year-old Uruguayan, led Deportes Tolima in Colombia for just a month, and then arrived in Santa Fe, where he played in the final that the Cardinal team lost against Millonarios in 2017.

Since 2021, the coach assumed command at the University club in Peru, where he was also in 2019.
