Demarai Gray has pledged to help Everton compete with the top clubs in the Premier League, after completing his move to the team on Thursday.
And the British news agency “BA Media” reported that Gray, 25, a former Leicester City player, signed a three-year contract, with the option of a fourth year extension, with Everton, coming from the German team Bayer Leverkusen, in an undisclosed deal His financial value, after spending six months in the German Bundesliga.
Gray became the third player to join Everton after Andros Townsend and goalkeeper Asmir Begovic, as new coach Rafael Benitez and director of football Marcel Brands did not waste much time to support the team for the new season.
“I am delighted to be back in the Premier League, with such a great club, and I am excited to play with the team and get to work,” Gray told the club’s official website.
“Speaking with the coach and Marcel Brands, I have a good feeling for the club, and I feel that this is where I want to continue to develop.”
