Our provincial capital and its surrounding towns were suppressed by another burst of earth tremors within a space of just four hours yesterday.
The first one was this morning at 10.26h and the last one at 13.00h, which were registered by the National Geographic Institute (IGN).
Armilla was the epicenter of the first earth tremor which register 2.6 on the Richter Scale and was in nearby Granada.
The second one occurred just a few minutes later, at 10.46h but this time under Santa Fe and less powerful (1.5) Nobody seemed to have noticed because the local police didn’t receive any calls from concerned locals.
The third one was at 12.57h with its epicentre under Huétor Vega, register 2.5 on the Richter Scale – this time it was felt in Granada, too.
So far today, the Earth had another little grumble beneath Ogíjares at 05.13h registering 2.2 on the Richter Scale, just to let us know it’s not happy.
