Sony and Polyphony Digital have revealed the new features coming to Gran Turismo 7 with theOctober update (patch 1.52), which includes three cars and events for the “World Circuits” section. The announcement was accompanied by a trailer that presents the new content arriving and which you can view in the player below.
In particular, the three new cars will all be Japanese and will range from racing cars to commercial models. Specifically, once the update has been downloaded and installed, players will be able to get their hands on the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII MR GSR ’04the Nissan GT-R Premium Edition T-Spec ’24 and the commercial van Toyota Hiace Van DX ’16which may not stand out for the number of horses, but certainly has a lot of character.

- Amateur Cup – Tokyo Expressway – Central clockwise
- Nissan GT-R Cup – Circuit de Sainte-Croix – A
- Evolution Meeting – Kyoto Driving Park – Yamagiwa + Miyabi in reverse / Autodromo Nazionale Monza / Colorado Springs – Lake
Other new features include the extra menu at the “Audi Collection” Café, new circuits compatible with the AI Gran Turismo Sophy (Brand Hatch and Dragon Trail), Chicago as a new location for Scapes.
Staying on topic, the first details on My First GT should also arrive in the coming weeks, the new “free-to-play experience for PS5 console” that pays homage to the history of the series, announced in view of PlayStation’s 30th anniversary.
