Kazunori Yamauchipresident of Polyphony Digital, through a statement released on PlayStation.Blog, has apologized to the entire Gran Turismo 7 community for the chaos that has arisen with the latest updates. To remedy the mistakes made, the president promised a million-credit pack for players who have encountered server and game balance issues. To get the credits it will be enough log-in by April 25, 2022.

Yamauchi explained that the previous patch was intended to correct an issue with rewards within a portion of the events of the World Circuits. However, in order to restore the expected balance and provide rewards more suited to the time spent and completion, it was necessary recalculate the reward system as a whole. Therefore, to enhance the gaming experience, Polyphony Digital will release a new patch in early April. The number of events will increase and the rewards system will be revised, which will boast a greater balance and will benefit all players.

The new update of Gran Turismo 7 will provide greater rewards for numerous events and online competitions. They will also be introduced eight new Endurance Race events and increased the maximum limit for non-purchased credits from 20 to 100 million. In addition, the amount of used and legendary cars on offer at any one time will also be amplified.

Furthermore, the president stated that eNew updates will arrive by the end of April that they will introduce new cars and new tracks, along with other precautions.
