Apparently, a section of the official PlayStation site appears to have confirmed the existence of a beta test for Gran Turismo 7, accessible by completing a procedure of a few simple steps. Several users of GTPlanet and other players on social networks.
This trial version appears to be part of an official website promotion Experience PlayStation. The app is not used frequently (certainly more than others, though), outside of occasions like the one when many fans logged in for Sony’s 2017 event held in Anaheim, California (Disneyland, ed). .
To “access” the beta of Gran Turismo 7 you need to access the PlayStation Experience section on the official website, then choose “Start Quest”, “Related Campaigns” and, finally, “Italia Quest”. One of the four options available in the menu, at this point, will be the beta in question, after watching the trailer.
Despite the flattering “Italia Quest”, in reality the whole world can “access” this option. We use quotes because the code is actually still a stopgaps, as the text string 1234-5678-9012 suggests. While the code does not work, it is implied that it is an internal test.
It wouldn’t be the first time this happens, after what we saw with Gran Turismo Sport. A curious aspect of the matter is that the code is “only for PS5”: a clarification at least suspicious, but beyond the PS4 version it is clear that only the next gen version will be open to test rides.
In February, we were informed of the latest development on the game, which is the postponement to 2022. The chance to learn more is approaching, and if we count the only seven months between the beta of GT Sport and its release, perhaps even the game itself. Of course, we will not fail to keep you informed.
