To stay ahead of gender parity and economythe Government of Mexico through the Ministry of Economy is offering free courses for women where they can learn from the most basic computer and Internet to cybersecurity, programming and even Web development.
“With this initiative we seek to close the digital gender gap, promoting literacy and technological specialization so that women achieve independence and reach their goals,” says the portal mexicanasdigitales.mx, which was created for these courses.
The program called Digital Skills for Mexican Women of the 21st Centurywhich is in its second phase, will be carried from September 6, 2022 to March 6, 2023.
Women in Mexico learn from computing to cybersecurity and development
Among the 8 free courses it has, they allow women to learn from how to use a computer and the Internetuntil cybersecurity, programming in python Y Web development wearing javascript.
The program focuses on the development of technological and digital skills as it will help the Mexican women of the future to:

With this, the Secretary of Economy seeks that Mexican women over 16 years of age develop skills in information technology (ITEM) with the aim of improving their conditions to obtain a job, start or improve their business.
The objectives of the program are to develop digital skills aimed at strengthening entrepreneurship and MSMEs led by women.
