League in the opposite morning and ready to desert the CDM, then …
Yellow League. Something strange happened yesterday, before the Council of Ministers which gave the green light to the new restrictions to face the pandemic. In the morning the top leaders of the Carroccio met in Rome, present together with the secretary Matteo Salvini also the Minister of Economic Development and Head of Delegation Giancarlo Giorgetti, the group leaders Riccardo Molinari and Massimiliano Romeo, the deputy secretary Lorenzo Fontana and the president of Friuli Venezia Giulia and of the Conference of the Regions Massimiliano Fedriga.
Everyone agrees, including Giorgetti, to say no to the Super Green Pass even in the white area, as “discriminatory with the risk of fueling social conflicts“, and not to participate in the CDM. And in fact, it does not seem a coincidence, it is this morning, the day after the CDM, the agreement in the majority on the reduction of the tax burden to be included in the Budget Law.
Agreement that also includes the key battle of the Carroccio and of Salvini, or on the allocation of “a little more than 1 billion for the reduction of IRAP“, as reported by the Deputy Minister of Economic Development, Gilberto Pichetto Fratin, at the end of the table at Mef sul tax cut. The agreement provides for “the exclusion from Irap for all individual firms and self-employed workers and innovative start-ups should also be included”.
In short, the Carroccio has swallowed the Super Green Pass even in the white zone but it obtained a difficult victory on the tax front for its historic electoral basin. And now, as he said Salvini immediately after the agreement, the priority is “to lower the prices of electricity and gas bills, saving on waste Basic income. Today the cost of electricity in Italy has reached record levels. “Il Carroccio is preparing for the second collection …
