ReiThera was until June the experiment for the discovery of a vaccine also in Italy with certified results that speak for themselves: those who underwent the test now have a significant amount of antibodies. And many antibodies means having acquired a degree of protection for oneself and towards others sufficient to allow a lifestyle equal to those who have been vaccinated with Pfizer or Moderna. And what is the Italian state doing? How do you thank the 900 “guinea pigs” who, with courage and a sense of altruism, put themselves at the service of science? Deny them the Green Pass.
In a circular from the Ministry of Health, the green card is granted only to those who have been immunized with vaccines recognized by the EMA, including the one made in Italy. Something that is difficult to explain and that will have inevitable consequences, because it is the precedents that determine future behaviors.
Will it still be so easy in the face of another emergency that will require more volunteers, to find people willing to be treated this way? The Italian Ministry of Health effectively equates those who have done ReiThera to a no vax. And from tomorrow with the compulsory introduction of the Green Pass in many commercial establishments as well as for long-distance travel, “guinea pigs” will have to show continuous rapid swabs to avoid having the doors shut in their faces. A really nice way to make the country’s gratitude feel to those who have risked their own for the good of the community and in no way represent a risk for it.
