Autonomous driving is increasingly a theme present in everyday life and Google is one of the companies that are investing the most in this area. Waymo is the company that has this area in its hands and is trying to create solutions for the near future.
Google and Waymo’s plans for their autonomous car fleet are very big. The research giant and its subsidiary want to create the technology needed to create cars that drive automatically and without any human intervention.

With real tests taking place in US cities, a lot of learning is being done and a lot of essential information is being gathered. There are still some strange situations going on, like the most recent one that causes Waymo cars to be routed into a dead-end street for no apparent reason.
There isn’t a reason yet, but Google’s autonomous cars end up heading for this street, which they travel until they have to make a U-turn. It is not a place where it is logical to enter, because there is nothing that leads them to enter this street.
Residents reported seeing more than 50 Waymo cars over the course of a day. Every 5 minutes it is normal to see a car arriving there, entering the street and making a U-turn.
