Aoni Production announced today that the voice actress Eiko Masuyamaoriginal voice by Fujiko Mine in Lupine IIIpassed away last year May, 20th due to pneumonia. She was 89 years old. The funeral took place privately with his closest relatives.
Masuyama was born in Tokyo on April 22, 1936 and started her career with the first anime broadcast on television, such as the first Astro Boy (Tetsuwan Atom). She lent her voice to the character of Fujiko Mine in the franchise of Lupine III until the television special released in 2010, Lupine III: the Last Job. She was the only one still alive from the original cast.
Eiko Masuyama was also the voice of Honey Kisaragi in the series of Cutie Honey, as well as the protagonist of Mahōtsukai Chappy and the Princess Snow Kaguya in Sailor Moon S: The Movie.
