Actor and comedian Jim Carrey, who plays Dr. Robotnik in “Sonic: the hedgehog 2″, has revealed that he plans to retire from acting. The star of movies like “Ace Ventura”, “The Mask” and “Truman Show” considers that he has done enough in his acting career and that he would soon leave the spotlight of Hollywood.
In an interview with Access Hollywood, Carrey surprised the interviewer when out of nowhere he expressed that he was considering putting an end to his film career.

“Well, I’m going to retire, so…”, the comedian told the interviewer, who initially refused to believe him and insisted on asking if he was serious or just joking.
“Yes probably. I’m equally serious,” Jim replied, then pointed out that he might make an exception if he were to be offered a new role that was extraordinary.

“Depends, if the angels bring some kind of script written in gold ink, telling me that it’s going to be very important for people to see, I could continue down the road, but I’m taking a break,” he revealed.
