The main version of the origin of the coronavirus, which caused the COVID-19 pandemic in the world, is still the transmission of the virus from bats, although a person could receive the pathogen from them not directly, but through another species. Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova announced this on the air of the Vesti on Saturday program.
“I think that research is still required, in any case, we are conducting this research. But the closest version is bats, but it has already been modified too – supposedly there was someone else between the man and the bat, ”she said.
