Golf | Ursula Wikström once again tightened the European tour’s competition for victory

Wikström has finished second no less than eight times, but the victory is missing.

Ursula Wikström shares second place and starts within a stroke of the lead for the final round of the European Golf Tour competition in Newmarket-on-Fergus, Ireland.

Holland’s Anne van Dam leads the competition at 11 under par. Wikström shares second place with five other players.

Wikström is playing in his 19th season on the European tour. There is no victory yet, but he has placed second no less than eight times. So now is the perfect place to achieve victory.

Wikström started the competition with a score of 69 strokes and rose to the top fight with a score of 66 in the second round. He survived Saturday’s round with a score of 71 strokes.

Tiia Koivisto and Linda Osala are tied for 44th place in the competition and Noora Komulainen tied for 56th place.
