Golf | The golf star hit such a special hit that the PGA tour had to clarify what happened with a rule review.

Zach Johnson’s actions before the opening sparked a reflection on the rules.

Two won the golf Masters tournament in his career in the United States Zach Johnson showed on Saturday that even professionals can hit quite special punches at times.

Johnson is playing in the Players Championship in Florida, and one of the man’s opening strokes was preceded by a pretty blunder.

Johnson sought a feel for his swing with a practice shot, but accidentally hit the ball that flew straight into the stands.

“I’ll try that one more time. I hope it came to the video, ”Johnson said with a smile.

The incident wasn’t the first for Johnson, and some of those who commented on the PGA tour video joked that the beat should count. Some, on the other hand, wondered if the punch would count towards Johnson’s result.

So the PGA Tour released an excerpt from the rulebook. According to the rules, the ball is not in play until it has been attempted to hit. Thus, the damage caused by the warm-up and practice strokes does not hurt, the ball is only put back on the road.

Johnson could perhaps still consider moving back half a step to avoid damage hits.
