Golf | Professional golfer throws putter into water after failure – final round went without a racket

Matt Jones dispelled his frustration in the middle of the round.

Golf The Arnold Palmer Invitational on the PGA Tour saw a rare outburst on Saturday as Australia’s Matt Jones fetched a birdie in the 11th hole.

About 2.5 meters of putt clearly curved past the hole, and Jones logged a pair from the hole. Immediately after par-Putin, he threw the putter with both hands at the adjacent water hazard.

In the final round, the seven holes, Jones played without a putter and handled the putting with a sand wedge.

He hit a double bog in the 15th hole and a bogey in the 17th hole, and the whole round was recorded as +4.

After three rounds, Jones was +5 and 58th overall.

The final round of the competition will be played on Sunday. At the forefront are the United States Billy Horschel and Talor Gooch with a result of -7.
