In view of the upcoming PC launch of God of War Ragnarokthe PlayStation Blog has published an article where it reveals some new features of this version and that “soon” they will also be introduced for the PS5 and PS4 versions with an update.
One in particular will make those who can’t stand the Atreus’s petulant advice during puzzles proposed by the game. To be precise, according to what the PS Blog says, it is “a new option, to be enabled in the Game Settings, which allows you to reduce the frequency with which peers offer suggestions to solve the puzzles”. After all, one of the biggest criticisms made by players was the frequency of help offered by the boy and Kratos’ other traveling companions, which sometimes really took away the pleasure of using that little bit of gray matter necessary to complete the puzzles.
Audio description also arrives
The other feature introduced is audio description. As shown in the example video below, enabling this option will provide a voiceover that describes in great detail what is happening on the screen, to accommodate players with visual impairments.
In addition to this, the PlayStation Blog reveals other interesting initiatives. The first is the Streamer Alertswhich is a set of emotes for a new follower, subscriber, donation and gift donation. There is also a “fan kit” to celebrate the launch of God of War Ragnarok on PC including social media banners and backgrounds. You can download everything for free on the official Sony Santa Monica website at this address.
In the meantime, here’s the launch trailer for the PC version of God of War: Ragnarok and details on requirements and exclusive features.
