Yesterday, David jaffe, best known for being the creator of God of War, posted a video on his channel Youtube criticizing various elements of Metroid Dread. According Jaffe, this new exclusive from Switch it is “very difficult and confusing for your players”, to the point where you couldn’t play for more than two hours before uninstalling it.
Via Twitter, Jaffe now compared to Metroid Dread with Shantae and The Seven Sirens, Although more than being an authentic comparison, he only used it as a pretext to throw more hatred at the game of MercurySteam.
“The $ 60 Nintendo Game vs. Shantae and the Seven Sirens (aka an authentic and GREAT example of a modern metroidvania which, by the way, only costs $ 30 dollars… ”

As you could already see, Jaffe continues with its campaign of hatred towards Metroid Dread, and it sure won’t end here. Let’s see what other comments it comes out with Jaffe in the future, but people are already getting tired of them and just take a look at the responses to this tweet to know what I’m talking about.
Editor’s note: Well, it is clear that this man is only looking to attract attention. Jaffe knows perfectly the type of reactions these comments will provoke, and beyond being a constructive criticism of Dread, this has already turned into a campaign of hatred against him.
