During AnimeJapan 2023 there was news about the second season of goblin slayer. In an announcement from the publisher GA Bunko, it was reconfirmed that the anime will return in 2023.
The news was accompanied by a new illustration where the protagonist of the story appears. But other characters from the series are also featured, such as Priestess and High Elf Archer on the sides of the new art.
In the central part, but above the Goblin Slayer, is the Sword Maiden. All of them appeared in the original anime and perhaps this poster suggests that much of the action in the new wave of episodes will be in their hands.
