2023 is the year of the 70th anniversary of the Corvette. For eight generations, the celebrated sports car has pushed the boundaries of technology, performance and style while remaining an attainable cultural icon; Consequently Chevrolet has decided to celebrate this milestone with a special 70th anniversary package.
The Corvette 70th Anniversary Edition they will stand out through two exclusive exterior colors: the brand new Tri-coat White Pearl Metallic and Carbon Flash Metallic. Optional strips are available in complementary colors: Satin Gray with White Pearl Metallic Tri-coat and Satin Black with Carbon Flash Metallic. Pearl white and black, therefore: a choice of metallic elegance for General Motors.
The Corvette 70th Anniversary Edition will also feature rims with commemorative hubcap. While the Stingray and Z06 will each have a separate wheel design, the wheels will share a similar dark finish and Edge Red stripe. Inside, drivers will find a two-tone Ceramic GT2 or Competition Sport leather seat, red stitching, red seat belts and seat inserts and a suede microfiber steering wheel.
Finally, there will be external 70th Anniversary Edition badges; Edge Red brake calipers; 70th Anniversary Edition logos on seats, steering wheel and door sills; custom suitcase set with red stitching and 70th Anniversary Edition logo. The anniversary package will be available when production begins later this year on the 2023 Corvette Stingray 3LT and Z06 3LZ coupe and convertible models. All 2023 Edition Corvettes, including those not equipped with the 70th Anniversary Edition package , they will feature an internal commemorative plaque of the 70th anniversary located on the center speaker grille and a graphic printed on the lower window.
The first Corvette Z06 70th Anniversary Edition will be auctioned by Barrett-Jackson for the benefit ofHomefront operation, to help the homeless in the United States.
