Candidates Guilherme Boulos (PSOL), Ricardo Nunes (MDB) and Pablo Marçal (PRTB), who, according to the polls, are competing for two places in the second round of the election for the Mayor of São Paulo, rehearsed on the night of this Thursday, 3 , a more purposeful behavior in the debate promoted by TV Globo – the last before the vote on Sunday (6).
During the match, however, the opponents once again resorted to provocations and mutual attacks. Boulos questioned Marçal for the “nice” style adopted in the debate and accused his rival of misogyny. In response, the PRTB candidate called Boulos a “crazy leftist”.
In the clash with Nunes, Marçal recalled an accusation of domestic violence against his rival. Nunes, in turn, called his opponent a “coward”.
Candidate Tabata Amaral (PSB), on the other hand, was incisive in criticizing the top three, but managed to be effective in presenting proposals. In an interview with Eldorado Radiopolitical scientist Renato Dorgan, executive director of Instituto Travessia and specialist in qualitative and quantitative research, assessed that Tabata may have achieved “a certain conversion of undecided voters”. During the confrontation, he monitored, in qualitative research, the reactions of the candidates’ declared voters and those who said they still didn’t know who to vote for.
